Baby Shower Games–with Printables!

I love baby showers! Please, please INVITE ME! I think my favorite part are the games! In my eyes the games make the party! Usually at baby showers it is a mix of people that the mom-to-be knows. It can be family, friends, co-workers and most of them usually don’t know each other. The games help to break the ice and get everyone laughing and talking. Even if they DO know each other – the games get everyone laughing! Therefore, I have compiled a list of fun baby shower games with a couple of printables!

Word Search and Word Scramble. Need I say more? These are fun games to get guests thinking in baby mode! I made printables for you below! Print, cut, and glue onto a larger piece of cardstock to coordinate with your theme.

  • You can get the word search HERE
  • You can get the word scramble HERE

Guess the belly size. Create little bags with a piece of yarn or ribbon ready for when party guests arrive. Have them guess the size of the prego momma’s belly.

I created a neutral Ziploc bag printable. Put yarn or ribbon in a snack sized Ziploc and then staple the printable over top. Hand out to guests as they arrive! Be sure to have a pair of scissors on hand for them to cut the yarn or ribbon to length.

Baby Bingo. This games can always be found at a party supply store! I found a free printable HERE at Parties & Patterns. I just love the idea of using buttons as bingo markers!

Don’t Say Baby! This game truly is a challenge! Have clothespins ready by the door. When a guests come in they each get a clothespin to clip to their shirt somewhere. If they say the word ‘baby’ another guest can call them on it and take their pin. At the end of the shower, the person with the most pins wins! Way harder than you would think!

There are so many other fun baby shower games out there too! This post could go on and on!

I’ve been working on a few baby shower themes for my party printable store and can not wait to share them with you!

Celebrate summer nights and summer days because there is not much summer left… unless you are like me and live in Florida where it is hot – hot – and hotter! Trust me I wish it was not the case. A little secret – I’m applying for jobs in Wyoming and Colorado! We hope to move West by next summer – in which case I will experience seasons again. Hooray!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Printable ‘Stars and Stripes’ Banner

With the Fourth of July a little over a week away, I wanted to offer a ‘Stars and Stripes’ banner to all of my readers! Just print the files I attached below – cut the pennants out – punch two holes and string the pennants through ribbon or string! Easy and FREE! This would even be a great project for kids. It would keep them busy for a few minutes and possibly quite for a few minutes… until they decide to fight over who gets to help punch the holes… (sounds like my house these days- LOL).

Bunny Butt Garland Printable

So I saw the cutest garland (pictured below) on pinterest and I knew I had to make it!

My version…

I created my own bunny behind template which you can get HERE. (You are more than welcome to use my printable but you may not copy it as your own or sell it for a profit. For personal use only!)

To create the entire garland you will need:

  • White cardstock (8.5x11)
  • Scissors
  • Scrapbook paper scraps
  • Black Chalk Ink (optional)
  • Hole punch
  • 6-8 feet of ribbon, string, or yarn
  • Scotch tape

To begin, print out the template onto your white cardstock.

Then cut out around the bunnies about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch OUTSIDE of the black outline. They will look like this when done…

Then take some scrapbook paper scraps and cut out two inch circles which will be used for the tail. I used my cricut to cut out the circles, but you can always trace a cup and cut it out with scissors.

I wanted to give the tails a little dimension like the ones in the inspiration photo, so I added black chalk ink around the edges of the circles. This step is optional.

Then take your scotch tape and make it into a loop. Turn over your circles and place a piece of tape in the center of each tail.

Then center the tail on the middle of the bunnies booty.

I used my fingers to gently bend the circles to give even more dimension. What bunny doesn’t have a fluffy tail?

After all of the tails were taped on, I used my whole punch to make a hole in each ear.

I then used a 6-8 foot piece of unbleached butchers string to string through my bunny ears.

Then I found a place to hang my garland for all of our Easter brunch guests to see! I think they will get a kick out of it – what about you?

Enjoy,
