It's Giveaway Day!

Alright.  Well, I feel like we know each other better now, my dear reader.


You've officially read my testimony.  You've seen my dirty laundry.  But more importantly, you've seen that dirty laundry be cleaned by Christ.  Not a stain remains.


And speaking of laundry....


It's giveaway day!


And I'm super excited about this one.


Recently, I noticed our clothes were becoming very worn looking.  And since our clothes budget is, well, slim to none, I decided to start hanging some of our clothes to dry versus putting them in the dryer.  Not only does hanging extend the clothes life, but it also saves on energy.  Win, win baby.


So, I began looking for options.  After reading an article in MaryJane's Magazine about AbbyJo and Homestead Drying Racks, I decided this was it!  It was my destiny to own one of their drying racks, handcrafted by AbbyJo and her husband.

Can't you just see me there?  With my animals and laundry basket?  


I can.  And I like it!


Currently, mine is still being made.  And I'll be like a little kid on Christmas morning when it arrives.  I can hardly wait!  And now, my dearest reader, you too can have the opportunity to own one of their drying racks.  Because we're giving one away!


Calm down now, calm down.  Do you need a paper bag to breath in?  I know, it's exciting, but try and stay with me here.


We're giving away a Peddler Rack, which is the smallest of their three available sizes.  The Peddler Rack is perfect for small spaces, offering 20 lineal feet of drying space.  I think that this would work great for cloth diapers!  Or sweaters.  Or really, whatever you'd like!  And after trying to dry a few items outside on the fence, which then ended up with spiders and dirt on them, I'd say this is almost a necessity.

Giveaway Time!

Ok, MOM. I know I said I would do a giveaway on Friday but then life got in the way! I had a jewelry party on Saturday and Sunday flew by. We spent over an hour in Joann Fabrics, desperately hoping that I would be able to get my fabric cut before they closed. Let this be a lesson to you: Always, always take a number for the cutting table as soon as you walk in on a weekend. I should know this, and yet, we meandered around before picking out a number. So we had to wait for almost an hour. Lesson learned.

So giveaway: Remember when I made a million market bags to try and sell at the local U-Pick Apple Farm? I still have a lot (all) of them and I would like to give one away.
