Matthew started crawling forward on Friday! He's been working on it now for about 5 days and yesterday he made it all the way around our first floor. We are NOT babyproofed at all...we do have a gate on the basement steps, but we still need to install the door. We want to varnish the banister before we get a gate on that, but we'll see...necessity may overtake aesthetics! He's so cute when he does it though...his main motivators are Brie (our dog) and my cell phone...he'll go anywhere for that cell phone. He chases Brie around saying, "Brrrr" and can now roll his "r's." I have no idea where he picked that up, but he sounds like a matador!
