Brief Update on What's to Come

I realize it's been a little over three weeks since I've enlightened you fine readers with my brilliant words. I'm busy, get over it. No really, I've been so busy in the past three weeks that I can't believe my head is still attached to my neck. I was traveling around the Gulf Coast working for two weeks, and then I spent a week back home in WV visiting with family (and going to a Lady Gaga concert, of course).
So needless to say, I haven't had time to sit down and dedicate much time to giving you something spectacular to read. Don't worry, I've been working on some things, doing lots of research and taste-testing, among other things, and I have a plentiful amount of notes I now just have to organize into a series of blog posts. Remember how my last series focused on specific animals in each post? It's kind of like those. So after I've worked the next two days, I'll have some free time to really get to work organizing all the info I've got so I can share it with you.

Another thing that occurred in the past three weeks: My darling, reliable Macbook Pro I bought four years ago has passed on. I literally bought the computer four years and four days before she fell off my counter and her beautiful screen was shattered. Although there was a small black spot on the bottom right corner of the screen and a few cracks across the rest of it, the computer was still usable. Until Monday, when she just completely bit the dust. Upon further inspection, it has become clear that her injuries were too much for her to bear and there is no hope in resuscitating her. For the moment, I'm using Durb's Dell Inspiron Mini, which I hate more than words can begin to express. The screen is far too tiny, and my hands just can't process the fact that there's a right-click on the fingerpad. But alas, this is my temporary replacement until I can get my hands on a new Mac. Keep me in your thoughts because I'm really struggling with my loss.

And keep checking back because I'll be posting awesome new stuff as early as Sunday evening!
