I've been a fan of Lush for several years ever since I discovered it in Chicago. I happened to stumble into the Macy's on Michigan Avenue (it had JUST switched from Marshall Field's to Macy's, unfortunately) and after buying what I needed from the Lancome counter, I wandered over to this kitschy-looking section of the store where I quickly fell in love. I still remember the first items I bought: Caca Rouge Mama (a solid henna hair dye), Sex Bomb (a ylang ylang, jasmine, clary sage, and soya milk bath fizzy ball thing), and Schnuggle Body Butter (a solid body butter with lavender, chamomile, ginger, and sandalwood that was perfect right before bed).

After using these three products, I realized I was probably addicted to Lush and would be for life. While working in Ft. Myers this past weekend, I was saddened by finding out that their Lush store would be closing due to contractual issues with Macy's. So I went in to see what was on sale and what wasn't (some of their stuff can be pretty pricey, but it's totally worth it because they're all HAND MADE and ALL NATURAL). I ended up buying some bath bombs, those fizzy balls you drop in your hot bath, and two of the ones I got were holiday items, Satsuma Santa and Li'l Lush Pud. Satsuma Santa is a citrus-scented bomb (that turns your bathwater hot pink!) and Li'l Lush Pud smells like spicy cloves. They're both seasonal bath bombs that you can't get anymore, and I was pretty excited to use them.

My other favorite Bath Bombs from Lush include: Butterball (vanilla and cocoa butter-scented), Big Blue (smells like lemon and lavender, has sea salt for exfoliation, and turns your bathwater blue), Tisty Tosty (an orris root and rose-scented bomb that has actual rosebuds in it), and Golden Slumbers (a lavender-scented bomb with gold glitter).

I don't just love the Bath Bombs, though. There's a million other products that I adore, like their Bubble Bars. They're little solid things you drop in your bathwater to create a yummy bubble bath. My favorite ever is the Comforter Bubble Bar, which smells like cassis (black currants).
The Whoosh Shower Jelly, which smells like grapefruit and lemon juices, is an invigorating way to wake up in your morning shower, too. I used to always buy this and use it the morning after I'd been out acting like a total lush. Which was pretty much every night of my life in college. And I should probably go invest in some more of this stuff considering I'm fairly certain I'm still a lush.
Another favorite of mine is the Ultimate Shine Shampoo Bar, which is a shampoo solid (lasts forever) that has ylang ylang and violet leaf to cleanse your scalp and leave your hair super shiny.
The Ocean Salt Cleanser is another recommended favorite of mine. It's 50% sea salt with lemon, grapefruit, and lime juices, in addition to coconut, avocado, violet leaf, and surprisingly enough, vodka. It's so great for clearing the skin up and really cleaning out clogged pores, as well as sloughing off all the gross dead skin sitting on top.
These are just a few of the amazing products that I've tried out, although I honestly have to say I've tried almost every single product they carry at this point. If you don't have a Lush location near you, I definitely recommend ordering some of their products online because they're totally worth it. There should truly be more companies like Lush hand-making their products from scratch and using all natural ingredients.
