Spring Playtime Questions

I am at a loss.

Not quite sure what to do.

Can you help me?

1. Do you have designated play clothes for outside? I'm trying to figure this out b/c all of our clothes are relatively stain-free...until we go outside.
   
2. We took the kids outside before dinner last night and, as many people in the Northeast, our lawn is a mudpit. When we came in, the kids had to take their shoes off and Husband spent 15 minutes cleaning them off in my newly cleaned bathroom sink. Does everyone do this? How do you store your muddy shoes? (Please keep in mind that we don't have a mudroom or a garage...convenient, huh?)
3. How do you get them inside without throwing absolute fits? I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot of time outside this Spring!

BTW...while we were outside in Round #1 yesterday, I saw my first unsolicited twin hug...it was initiated by Matt. He just threw his arms around Hailey and hung on for a while. She kept giving him the obligatory pats on the back and just stood there enjoying her hug from her brother. He even switched sides with his head at one point...he's a love! I didn't get any pictures of this because I had already used up the memory on the video below, but before I knew it, pictures weren't possible anyway. Matt had hugged Hailey so hard that he lost his balance, tipped backward, and ended up on his back (yes, in the black mulch that is soooo easy to get off of hands/fabrics/tushies)! It was actually kind of cute and I had to rescue those little crazies.

Oh, and yes, Husband offered to clean my shoes too, but I didn't let him...opted for banging them on the deck rails instead...I'm so rustic.

Sorry for the quality of the video...took it on my regular camera...no time to go in and get the other one and the battery was dead anyway...sometimes I wish I had a battery that would go dead so I could plug myself in a get recharged...what an easy life to live. Although, then all sorts of people would get pissed at me when my battery died b/c it would be at the most inopportune times. I can never win!

Oh, and upon further review, I have no idea why the second part played twice...guess my editing isn't so great! It's still cute though...Matthew just can't seem to get his big head on top of his body!
