Behavior Charts...

Seriously, we're in desperate need.

My question is...what do you put on them?

I have so many behaviors that I want to address, but I know it's inappropriate to try to deal with all of them at the same time.

So, here's what I'm thinking:

  1. Clean up toys.
  2. Good behavior at bedtimes.
  3. Good behavior at mealtimes.
  4. Listening to Mommy and Daddy.
  5. Keep hands to yourself.
Bonus points for:
  1. Sharing without being asked.
  2. Putting dishes in sink without being asked.
I think they're ready for this.  They understand rewards and how to earn them.  Plus, I have a laminator now, I have to laminate something.
I also think I'm going to put a clock in their room.  Matt has been getting up at the ass crack of dawn and I'm over it.  I'm going to tell them that they can't start making a lot of noise until the number on the clock is a "7."  I have to do something.  This might become less of an issue when we move them into their own rooms to as they can just start quietly playing.

Speaking of the move, things are moving swiftly.  We already ordered their sheet sets and we've decided on more neutral comforters so that they'll last longer (past the Cars/Princess craze).  We have a guy coming this evening to get the couch out of our basement and move the loveseat down there instead.  Then we have to actually purchase the comforters, a new mattress, and move our desks.  Then we'll be all set (other than some incidentals...curtains, framed artwork, etc.).  I just can't believe this is all moving along.  It's exciting and sad at the same time!

Here is what we've purchased for their rooms:

Matt's pillows
Matt's sheets
Matt's wall decor (not my choice, but Husband says we should make their rooms what they want...I get that.)
Hailey's pillows
Hailey's sheets
Hailey's wall decor

Matt's room is red, so I think it will look great with a gray comforter.  Hailey's staying in the light blue room because "it matches Cinderella's dress."  Like I said, I'm not 100% on board with the wall decor...I had visions of framed pictures all coordinated and beautiful, but I was outvoted.  I'm still going to frame some things, but these are cute too.  After I weighed the cost and how much framed pieces would cost, it made sense on that end too.

Shit...this post was supposed to be about behavior...guess I'm a tad distracted.

I need a behavior chart.

What are you guys up to today?
