One Day At A Time...

Okay, so we think the vomit may have subsided! Thank God...that was not my cup of tea especially b/c I am sick too! The kids were on all clear liquids (really just water) from 6:00 last night until about 2:00 this afternoon. They were exhausted today...totally exhausted. All that Matthew wanted to do was lay his head on my shoulder and be kissed on it...I was totally willing to do that. Hailey wanted the other arm and just sat there. I actually let them watch some television today (yeah, yeah...they're sick...give me a break!). Plus, it was all PBS shows...I'm not that bad! The slept a lot today...they're on their third nap right now. Their second nap lasted for 2.5 hours before I went in and woke them up! I was getting nervous. I guess they needed it, but I also get worried about them being weak or something because they're not eating.

I had them down on the floor to play too...they mostly whined or cried when they were down there. When I was down there with them, Matt would lean forward and put his head on my knee. It must have just been too much for him...poor kid. So, they were able to have a formula bottle at 2:00 today and most of that stayed down. They both spit up a little bit, but I'm not worried about that. Hailey seemed to perk up a little due to the calories, so that's good. All in all, we're hanging in there. I wish I could have gotten some pictures of Matthew just leaning his head on my and Hailey being on the other side playing with my fingers. It was just too cute. If they weren't sick, I totally would have set up the self-timer! I'm a sicko! Wish us luck on coming out of this fog soon...I don't like to see my kids sick!
